By default, the Wi-Fi Channel for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are set at Auto. The tool is used for identifying the least used Wi-Fi channel and determine the best available WiFi channel to select. The Wi-Fi Spectrum Analyzer tool (located in the SVG2482AC Web Manager) scans nearby access points and occupied Wi-Fi channels. To reduce or eliminate wireless interference, it may be necessary to change the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi channel in the SVG2482AC being used by the affected Wi-Fi clients. One variable may include other Wireless Access Points within the surrounding area using the same wireless channel. When using a wireless connection, interference may occur.
